Refund policy


Thank you for shopping at Obu and Cockeye Designs!

We sincerely hope that you are happy with your product purchase, but sometimes things happen.


Defective item:

If your purchase was misprinted, defective or damaged in transit, you can return it free of charge within 30 days of receiving the product. Please contact us via email so that we can arrange for the return and replacement of your item.


Buyer's remorse:

If you are not satisfied with the item you ordered, we offer refunds within the first 30 days of the purchase (except for commissioned pieces which are non-refundable). After 30 days, no refunds are possible. Please note that you are responsible for paying shipping costs for returning your item.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused, in the same condition in which you received it and in the original packaging. To complete your return, please include a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, a refund will be credited to your original method of payment. Please note that we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Pet Portraits:

Commissioned portraits are not eligible for refunds or exchanges. I am happy to email an image of the nearly completed, custom painting for approval prior to shipping. All sales of commissioned pieces are final.

 

Other issues:

Please make sure your address is correct when you order an item. If an address is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to us and you will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you.

Finally, if you believe your order was lost in transit, you must contact us no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date so that we can look into the situation.
